Just a reminder that we are in the last few days of our Turkey Challenge. As of today we’ve collected less than half of last years total. We fear not. Council 50 has always been a 4th quarter team, the 9th inning rally squad. I’m confident we will make a push to the goal line!
If you have already given, thank you very much for your generosity. We know times are tough and we appreciate anything you can contribute. Please join us this Saturday, November 19th at 5:00 in the bar and downstairs lounge for pizza, wings, chili and some drink specials. The cost of admission is simply cash, check, turkey and/or non-perishable food donations. One hundred percent of what we collect will be donated to those in need in our community. Kathleen Souvigney, Executive Director of the Enfield Food Shelf plans to attend to express her appreciation for all we do to support them. We hope to have a good showing. If you cannot attend please consider stopping by this week to make a donation or send a check payable to KofC 50, 371 Washington Blvd., Enfield, CT 06082 to help this vital cause.
